Since I was a child I’ve always been interested in sounds. I tried different instruments, searched for interesting noises in nature and discovered more and more possibilities to use my voice. The various facets and the emotional reactions of singing have always appealed to me. The physical and psychic process of voice and body in combination with learned technique is the foreground of my work. Voices reveal a lot and are in constant exchange with our emotions.

I am a human being, a woman (she/her), an artist, a vocal coach and all this affects my music. I am a resonating corpus and I can make my body vibrate by speaking and singing. My body is my instrument. I always found this picture very calming and it helps me to understand myself and my voice.

The older I got, the more my interest in electronics grew. I found it quite fascinating how they changed my voice and gave me some extra space for possibilities. Along with that came the urge to play electronic instruments and see them as an own topic. I love working with the technique of „No Input Mixing“ to encourage an interaction between my voice and electronics. I experiment, use bows, metal instruments and other things to develop something new.

I also discovered poetry, performance, compositional influences from jazz, contemporary music and most of all improvised music and its concepts. These influences flowed together and are now what I can call my own music. Especially the interdisciplinary work (other arts, artists and forms of expression) offers possibilities for creativity and inspires me a lot.

I studied „Improvised Voice“ under Michael Schiefel and Jeff Cascaro at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar, Germany. To further expand my knowledge and skills I get additional lessons from the soprano and interpreter of contemporary music, Sarah Maria Sun. I live and teach in Leipzig since 2019.

Seit meiner Kindheit interessiere ich mich für Sounds. Ich probierte verschiedene Instrumente aus, suchte nach interessanten Geräuschen in der Natur und entdeckte immer mehr Möglichkeiten meine Stimme einzusetzen. Die Stimme und ihr großer Umfang an Fascetten faszinierten mich von Beginn an. Sie besitzt deine einzigartige Klangfarbe, gibt viel von dir preis und wächst mit dir.

Die körperliche und seelische Arbeit steht für mich im Vordergrund.
Ich bin Mensch, Frau, Künstlerin und Gesangslehrerin und all das inspiriert meine Kunst und prägt mich. Mein Körper ist mein Instrument. Ich fand dieses Bild schon immer sehr beruhigend und es hilft mir, mich selbst und meine Stimme besser zu verstehen.

Je älter ich wurde, desto mehr wuchs mein Interesse an elektronischen Effekten. Ich fand es faszinierend, wie sie meine Stimme veränderten, mir zusätzlichen Raum gaben. Dazu kam der Drang für sich selbst stehende, elektronische Instrumente zu benutzen. Die Arbeit mit der Technik des „No Input Mixings“ benutze ich wahnsinnig gerne um eine Interaktion von Stimme und Elektronik anzuregen. Ich experimentiere, benutze Bögen, Metallinstrumente, mikrofoniere Alltagsgegenstände und andere Dinge um neue Klänge zu entwickeln. Auch prägten mich kompositorische Einflüsse aus dem Jazz, zeitgenössischen Musik und vor allem improvisierte Musik, ihre Konzepte & Poesie. Dies verbindet all das, was ich heute meine Musik nennen kann. Besonders die interdisziplinäre Arbeit (andere Künste, Künstler*Innen und Ausdrucksarten) bietet Möglichkeiten der Kreativität freien Lauf zu lassen und inspiriert mich sehr.

Ich studierte „Improvisierter Gesang“ bei Michael Schiefel und Jeff Cascaro an der Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar, Deutschland. Zum Ausbau meines Wissen und meiner Fähigkeiten nehme ich zusätzlichen Unterricht bei der Sopranistin und Interpretin zeitgenössischer Musik, Sarah Maria Sun. Ich lebe und unterrichte seit 2019 in Leipzig.
